Why DSL?

Through our long history of manufacturing everything but the PCB assembly (PCBA) itself, we’ve been a client of probably every CEM you’ve heard of in the UK ourselves – so we know exactly what it’s like to be on the other side of the fence and have an unprecedented insight into what makes a bad CEM, what makes a good CEM – and what would make the perfect CEM.

Using this knowledge, we carefully considered exactly what DSL electronic manufacturing should be, how it should act and what it should offer – to be the best – focusing on shortfalls we’d experienced many a time ourselves. Those shortfalls we experienced we flipped to become our key principles.

Warranty – both guaranteeing our workmanship by offering 5x the traditional warranty but also guaranteeing our availability and willingness to support our designs and physical products for their life-time.

Engineering – even when we’re manufacturing other’s designs, we don’t just ‘build what we’re told’, we always offer our expert insight into any improvements a client can make to help them be more successful, whether that’s changes to improve reliability or price points, or to get them out of a hole with an obsolete component.
